Official Sweepstakes Rules
Last updated November 2, 2026
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
- Sponsor. Trey Morris Injury Lawyers, LLC, 509 Milam St, Shreveport, LA 71101 ("Sponsor"). The drawing is held in Shreveport, Louisiana.
- Dates. Entries are accepted between the opening and closing times stated in the giveaway post, Central Time. Sponsor's clock controls.
- Who may enter. Legal residents of the United States, 18 or older. All employees of Trey Morris Injury Lawyers may not enter. It is your responsibility to confirm that your state, employer, or profession allows you to accept a prize from a law firm. Entering does not make you a client of Sponsor and does not affect any client's representation.
- How to enter. Comment once on Sponsor's original giveaway post on the Social Media Platform where it appears, during the entry dates. "Social Media Platform" means any of Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, or Pinterest; a giveaway runs only on the platform or platforms where Sponsor publishes the post, and an entry counts only on that post. One entry per person no matter how many comments. No purchase, payment, consultation, follow, tag, or share is required or counts. Sponsor may remove automated, duplicate, or fraudulent entries.
- Prizes. The prizes are the items described in the giveaway post, one per winner. Sponsor may provide a prize of equal or greater value in place of any listed prize. Sponsor ships to a United States address at its cost.
- Drawing and odds. On or about the drawing date stated in the giveaway post, Sponsor will draw one entry at random from all eligible entries for each prize, in the order the prizes are listed in the post. Sponsor may use an electronic random-selection tool or any other method that gives every eligible entry an equal chance of being selected. No one wins more than one prize. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries.
- Winner notice. Sponsor will notify each winner in writing by reply to their comment and direct message on the same Social Media Platform within 5 days of the drawing. The winner must respond by direct message to Sponsor on that platform within 24 hours of the notice; a winner who does not forfeits the prize and Sponsor may redraw a new winner at its discretion. Sponsor never asks a winner for payment.
- Taxes. Taxes on a prize are the winner's responsibility. If you receive prizes from Sponsor with a combined value of $600 or more in one calendar year, federal law (26 U.S.C. 6041) requires Sponsor to report the value to the IRS on Form 1099-MISC, and you must provide a completed Form W-9 before the prize is released.
- Announcements. Sponsor may post the winners' first names, last initials, and cities on its website and social accounts. A winner who posts about the prize agrees to say it was received free from Trey Morris Injury Lawyers in a giveaway.
- Platform. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any Social Media Platform or its parent company, and each entrant releases the platform and its parent from any claim relating to it. You are giving your information to Sponsor, not to the platform, and Sponsor uses it only to run this Promotion.
- Governing law. Louisiana law governs. Sponsor's good-faith decisions on eligibility and administration are final. Sponsor may cancel or modify the Promotion if fraud or a technical failure compromises it, and in that case will draw winners from eligible entries received before the problem.
- Rules. These rules apply to every giveaway Sponsor posts that links to them, and are posted at https://www.treymorrislaw.com/sweepstakes-rules/.
